How It All Began

The development of NexaSwift is closely linked to genuine practical experience and the desire to break away from old patterns in automation.

How it all began

The original idea for founding the company arose from the technological ambition to consistently advance existing processes and solutions.

At the same time, the desire emerged to rethink project work: with clear structures, reliable collaboration, and an environment where quality, responsibility, and innovation can truly thrive.

An idea for better project work has evolved into a company that is rethinking engineering and digital twins today.

The original vision was to work as a PLC software service provider and a provider for digital twin engineering. However, through the development of NexaTwin, it became clear that NexaSwift can do more: not only support existing tools but also develop its own solution that, together with NexaCode, forms a strong ecosystem in automation.

NexaSwift currently offers software engineering for PLC and HMI based on Siemens, Rockwell, and CODESYS, supplemented by its in-house standard and the NexaCode code generator. With NexaTwin, the company has its own digital twin solution – from layout validation to high-performance 3D HMI with LiveTwin.

Kevin Spörl stands for technical depth, reliability, and a genuine enthusiasm for innovation. His experience in maintenance and commissioning led him early on to question why machines weren't being simulated in advance.
